(or How to Deconstruct and Reinterpret Found Objects and Mixed Media) (1 day)
Dolan Geiman will deconstruct and reinterpret materials to demonstrate the effective use of found objects, everyday items, and oddball parts into successful collage and mixed media assemblages. Geiman, the creator of Recycled Clothing and a mixed media artist, will also discuss sustainable design and recycling design. Participants should bring their random parts and pieces they’ve always wanted to use in a collage, but could never quite figure out how. Other supplies provided.
