ABOUT HAROLD ARTS:
Harold Arts is a recently founded Chicago-based nonprofit visual and performing arts organization dedicated to fostering the interdisciplinary work of emerging artists and musicians. The programming vision of Harold Arts is multifold: (1) a multi-use arts center and gallery in Chicago’s Humboldt Park neighborhood and (2) the Harold Jeffers Memorial Residency program in Southeast Ohio for visual artists, musicians, curators, and arts scholars. After a successful trial residency program in 2006, Harold is continuing the program in 2007 with one and two week residencies open to international artists. The Humboldt Park arts center is scheduled to open in May 2007 with a debut exhibition anticipated in early June.
