Grants and Awards to Individual Artists

The majority of these awards are unrestricted awards based on artistic merit and/or financial need. Some grants are by nomination only and others allow for an open application process. These are mostly national awards - check your local state or city art council for artist grants such as Chicago's CAAP grant.
