This month, we introduce another new retailer, both a new wholesale account for us and a recently-opened store, Evolve Boutique. Evolve will soon stock our panel paintings and may, in the near future, also stock the bird/deer constructions. If time permits, we may even add a new wholesale item to the mix, a new series of unframed collages using all found and recycled papers (look for them on Flickr and Etsy later in the fall).
Located in the Emory University area of Atlanta ( 1581 North Decatur Road), Evolve's focus is eco-friendly and sustainable works by nationwide designers. The store is full of eco-conscience lines using organic cottons as well as repurposed items like messenger bags made of old rice bags and jewelry fashioned from vintage charms. The panel paintings, made from wood salvaged from shipping crates used to ship high-end artwork, and constructions/collages, made from all recycled woods and found objects, will supplement the fashion inventory and offer a gift-minded option for Evolve patrons.
