Hello readers! We're back from KC, MO and, most enjoyable, a short cell phone and e-mail free weekend at a cabin in Wisconsin for Dolan's 30th birthday. Now that we're getting back into the swing of things at the studio (and home for more than 1-2 days), we're pleased to announce all sorts of news and updates:

• Retailers Are Stocked and Ready for the Fall - new shipments of panel paintings have been delivered to nationwide retailers including Bluebottle Art Gallery (Seattle, WA), Cog & Pearl (Brooklyn, NY), Hot Toddy (Olympia, WA), Modishoppe (online), Sacred Art (Chicago, IL), Shoparooni (Cleveland, OH), and Yard Dog (Austin, TX). Get 'em while they last!
• Art Machine to Appear at the Kentuck Festival of the Arts - That's right, the 2007 appearance of the Dolan Geiman Art Machine will occur at this nationally recognized folk art festival October 20-21. Folk art enthusiasts from all over the globe fly in for the weekend event. Check out the list of guest and invited artists to appear at this year's festival here.
• Art Meets Football - Dolan is currently working on a 3' x 6' commission for a second location of Elway's Colorado Steakhouse at the Ritz-Carlton, Denver. The commission will pay homage to the life and career of Denver Broncos Hall of Fame NFL quarterback John Elway.
• September Giveaway Winner Announced - In September, we announced the winner of our quarterly art giveaway to one lucky e-mail newsletter subscriber. Raffle winner Amy B. of Denver, Colorado received one fine art print of her choice. Thanks to all the new e-mail subscribers from our summer and fall art fairs.
• The Holidays are a Comin' - We, too, hate it when retailers bypass Halloween and head straight to Christmas, setting up angel ornaments and silver tinsel when we're still thinking about pumpkins and things that go bump in the night. So we're just going to mention, casually, that as of November 1 (letting you enjoy Halloween of course) our Etsy page will transform into a Holiday Shop, filled to the brim with available inventory along with a few new surprises. Expect special discounted pricing for some extra holiday cheer. We've also added a couple shows for the holidays to our events page: DEPART-ment Nov 30, Dec 1-2 and the Hideout Holiday Sale December 18.
