This morning we delivered three recent Rescued Wood Constructions to a new showroom in Chicago scheduled to open in early February, Green Home Chicago. Green Home Chicago aims to be the preeminent Midwest source for eco-friendly residential and commercial furnishings including cabinetry, counter tops, flooring, tiles, carpeting, wall coverings, window treatments, fabrics, furniture, and even paint. Green Home Chicago has also secured exclusive rights in Chicago to several environmentally sound products including Syndecrete, Meld USA, Silver Walker and Green Planet Paints. After visiting the showroom this morning, we're in awe and applaud the ingenuity and foresight of the owner, Karen Kalmek. It's definitely a business model we're proud to be part of and we look forward to contributing additional works once we're settled into our new Bridgeport studio.
Green Home Chicago is our latest Rescued Wood Construction retail partner. This morning, we found this image via Flickr from another short-term destination for constructions, Thinkspace Gallery in Los Angeles. Last but certainly not least, we'll soon be stocking another Chicago shop with constructions, Sacred Art in Roscoe Village. Dolan will be the featured artist at Sacred Artist for a limited engagement February 1st through 17th. In celebration of this show, Dolan has created a limited-edition set of Valentine Lovebirds, a Valentine's Day twist on the Songbird collection.
