This week started off with a bang with a film crew from Big Fish Production arriving at the studio bright and early Tuesday morning to shoot footage for Wrecklamation, a show following Chicago-based demolition auctioneer Jodi Murphy and her company Murco Recycling. Wrecklamation airs this fall on Discovery's new green lifestyle channel, Planet Green. A while back, Dolan attended one of the auctions and purchased a few items to rework into decorative housewares and rescued wood constructions. Wrecklamation's producers interviewed Dolan at the auction and followed up this week to document the second life of these recycled items.

Thankfully, the film crew was pretty excited about our studio, the new installation Dolan created, and the Murco auction items. What we anticipated being a 20 minute interview turned into an all-day filming session. Dolan finished off the day by taking the crew to Soul Vegetarian, a slice of heaven for vegetarians and vegans located on 75th Street.

Now that the film crews have come and gone, we just have to mingle with our Bridgeport neighbors and find someone with cable and interested in letting us come over for a little dinner and Planet Green. For those of you also waiting patiently for the launch, you can preview the programming lineup online and also catch sneak peeks on Discovery's other channels.
