Lakefront Festival of the Arts (Milwaukee, WI)
booth 139 | lfoa.mam.org
It's our third art fair in a row, but we're still going strong (though our coffee thermos keeps getting larger)! This weekend marks our first show in Milwaukee since Art vs. Craft in 2006. Held on the grounds of the amazing Milwaukee Art Museum, plan an art-filled weekend at the fair and museum.
We'll be stocked and ready with new mixed media paintings, constructions, and panel paintings....

DOLAN GEIMAN COLLECTOR'S CIRCLE SUBMISSIONS - GRAND WINNER ANNOUNCED
In our May newsletter, we requested Collector's Circle submissions from our subscribers. The first five participants each received a free panel painting and all submissions were reviewed for a grand prize 16 x 20 in Red Clay, Green Tangerine archival print. After reviewing many fantastic submissions, we've decided on a grand winner shown below. Quoting the parents, "Here's a picture of Cole and Ella relaxing with some quality reading material under our favorite artwork for your flickr gallery." It was a treat to work with the parents to put together this wooden poster set for their living room and an even greater treat to see the works hanging in their home with the children reading on the couch below.

Thanks to everyone that submitted images and please keep them coming. You can either e-mail us images, post them to our Flickr group Dolan Geiman Collector's Circle, or just tag your photo dolangeiman. We will continue to review submissions and reward participants with spontaneous art gifts.NEW MIXED MEDIA
On Monday, our Etsy shop was updated with two new large mixed media works as well as a new Rescued Wood Construction collection - dogs! Check out the full selection of new works for June online.

NEW MAP PIECES
This month our Etsy shop was also updated with new map pieces, including the original Blue Highway, Yellow Cornhusk and a 33 x 24 in box print version. Right away, we received our first order on the box print - a custom 40 in version for a wedding gift. It's so nice to see individuals giving artwork from independent artists as wedding presents. As a sidenote, here's an article from design*sponge for Etsy on the very topic of giving art as a wedding gift.
