DG News: Buy American! Buy Dolan Geiman!
As the weather slowly turns cold and our tour of the nation's art fairs wind down, we are left dusting the cobwebs off our wool sweaters and trying our hand at beat poetry while reminiscing on all the fun we had on the road.
While we wish we could invite all of you over to the studio to check out Dolan's artworks in person, we couldn't possibly produce that many mini-sandwiches, puff-pastries, or sweet-chicken bacon wraps (the Paula Deen kind, no less) in time.
And then what would happen?
Well, how bout you say hello to some of the following fine retailers and galleries that have recently started stocking Dolan's work? Go on and give the art a hug for us, won't ya? I mean, the holidays are approaching (wink).
HighStreet in Cincinatti is a gorgeous eight-thousand square foot gallery, showroom-store, and design-studio. They currently feature a handful of Dolan's Box Prints, amongst other cutting-edge furniture, objects, and artwork bound to amplify any urban dwelling. The Design Studio at High Street offers all sorts of services, from Art Direction & Interior Design, to Consulting and Branding. They're your one-stop Midwestern destination for all the cool things you wish you had in your apartment RIGHT NOW.
Those of you on the West Coast can find Dolan's work at Ninety-Six Ten in Klamath Falls, Oregon, which stocks both Box Prints and Paper Prints. The Ninety-Six Ten gallery specializes in nature-inspired art and high-quality artisan goods, in addition to keeping a sustainable landscaping business. We love that combination!
Just down the coast, Rare Device in San Francisco stocks all the coolest home decor items and keeps a small gallery to highlight the work of up-and-coming artists and designers. Right now they've got a few Paper Prints in stock, and mark your calendars way in advance now (you're that organized, right?), because they'll be holding a show of Dolan's work in October of 2010!
Those of you on the other side of the country can find a whole slew of Panel Paintings and a few Box Prints at Cog & Pearl in Brooklyn, NY. Cog & Pearl specializes in handmade goods and you can find the best in artisan jewelry, handmade apparal, craft, and art!
Y'all here in Chicago can find our work at Green Home Chicago and Sacret Art -- two retailers we are so happy to have a local relationship with!
