We've just finished loading our iPod with a brand new playlist chock full of Blind Lemon Jefferson, Woody Guthrie, Muddy Waters, and various zydeco favorites (Queen Ida!!!) in preparation for our long drive to this Saturday's (Nov. 1) Americana Folk Fest in Dickson, Tennessee!Music is the main centerpiece of the day-long Fest, which features 3 stages-worth of folk and Americana music. We can't wait to hear the sweet banjo of Alison Brown and the masterful fiddling of Casey Driessen!
Like any good music-fest, there will be plenty of vendors on hand selling their art and hand-made goods. At the Folk Fest you can expect plenty of artists with a style equally as twangy as the musicians.
