The terrific artist Russell U. Richards has just released his 2009 calendar and it is a must-have for those of you outsider art and illustration fanatics!We're big fans here at the Dolan Geiman Studio - loving his brutally humorous take on urban life for the City Series, fantastic visions of Primeval Times, and Dolan, in particular, digs the Inacurate Maps of Charlottesville series - simultaneously nostalgic and disorienting!
Richards works across a variety of mediums - from oil painting, watercolors, printmaking, lithography, etching, and what seem like some pretty cool experiments in lenticulor holograms (woah).
