Introducing Seaside, Florida

It's been a busy month on the retail front and we're excited to announce one more retail destination for Dolan Geiman Box Prints: Art of Simple. Art of Simple is run by husband and wife team Michael and Laura Granberry and showcases the work of contemporary Southern artists. The gallery is located in the experimental, forward-thinking (call it what you will) community of Seaside, Florida, a study in New Urbanism. The history and concept of Seaside is so fascinting, I highly recommend a visit to the community's website. Seaside was the film location for Jim Carey's The Truman Show, but most amazing is that the location fees were used to construct the community's charter school. Check the Real Estate page for images of the community's unique cottages, homes that are a model for weathering the worst of Florida's hurricanes.We're thrilled to be part of Seaside and thankful for our new art reps in this design-minded community.
