Box Print Reproductions Now Greener

In all of our excitement for the Fossil Long Live Art partnership, we've been slow to share some important news with our BOX PRINT reproductions, our unique collection of archival prints on wood. Up until now, customers have had the option of custom printing a greener version of their favorite BOX PRINT reproduction for an additional fee. Effective July 1, however, all BOX PRINT editions are being printed with 100% solvent-free and VOC-free inks onto formaldehyde-free wood panels for no additional cost. Additional merits include: 1) poplar, used for the back-frame, is often considered an eco-friendly wood choice because it is a fast-growing, underutilized, and readily replenished wood species; and 2) all BOX PRINT reproductions are produced by small, locally-owned businesses in the USA.
