This month, we're pleased to introduce new stores in Maryland, Texas, Kentucky, and Washington, DC.
RED TREE BALTIMORE >>

Red Tree Baltimore features home furnishings, stylish accessories, and artistic goods from around the globe, including many works created a little closer to home by Baltimore artisans. The shop is doing so well the owners are soon-to-open a new shop in Washington, DC at 232 Carroll Ave NW. Originally from Kentucky, the owners have picked out some great Southern-style works to introduce east coasters to the Contemporary At with a Southern Accent of Dolan Geiman. Look for a shipment to Baltimore this week and work in Washington, DC in early November.
STUDIO SLANT >>
Kentucky is showing us some serious love this month. Immediately after getting off the phone with Red Tree, we received an e-mail from the folks behind a new gallery and handmade boutique coming to Owensboro, Kentucky, Studio Slant. From their inquiry,
"The Premise of Studio Slant is to provide our town and the people who live in it an outlet from the Big Box. Wearing or owning something unique makes the wearer feel unique. We hate to look like everyone else, and so we plan to do our part in combating the oatmealization of the world."
We're delighted to help combat oatmealization too and just might have to adopt that phrase! Studio Slant opened this month at 412 E Second Street in Owenboro.
SOUTHWEST SCHOOL OF ART >>
Down in the Lone Star State, we're thrilled to add a new retail destination for our Texas fans via the Southwest School of Art Gallery Shop in San Antonio, Texas. The gallery shop buyer, Clare, just happens to run an Etsy shop we adore (isn't the chair below amazing). In the shop, we'll be rubbing shoulders with a couple art fair artists we admire - Chris Roberts Antieau and Mary Fischer, just featured on our blog.
Suzani Upholstered Armchair by Material Recovery FLY BIRD >>
Last but not least, we want to do a little LAAAAAAAAAST CALL (not sure how many A's are in the barkeepers warning) fo rour show at Oak Park's Fly Bird. In conjunction with Artragous Oak Park, we stocked a variety of BOX PRINT reproductions, DG MINIs, and Panels. This is the final week, the show closing on October 31, so don't miss your chance to get a jump on the holidays while supporting a great shop in Oak Park!
