Munich outdoor Christmas market. Everyone was out shopping and drinking mulled wine, which was warm wine mixed with hot tea. The little shops were wooden shacks adorned with real greenery and mistletoe. So beautiful.
We walked for two hours through a large public park, which is larger than Central Park. Snow and ice made the walking picturesque, if not a little chilly. By the time we were nearing the end, our feet were numb, so the obvious next stop: a café. This place served Italian food and 250-year-old coffee. Strange and haunting pictures watched us from the walls as we sipped our warm beverages and melted back to life. Then we braved the cold once more, stepping out onto the streets of Munich...
