We first discovered Junkculture via a blog round-up posted by San Francisco artist Lisa Congdon and it's been part of our morning reading list every since. Junkculture celebrates art and design incorporating the discarded. Could there be a blog more perfect for us? Kind Over Matter is a self-pronounced feel-good blog focused heavily on the handmade community and with an emphasis on inspirational art and kind projects. It's the perfect blog to help you start your day on the right foot. Check out their card drops, where the blog all started, with printable quote cards to help spread some cheer.

Fey Handmade is a blog and online shop for lovely, handmade items founded in 2008 by Christine Lindstrom. Featuring a well-edited selection of art and housewares, jewelry and accessories, it's a wonderful place to discover new independent designers and support handmade this holiday season. Cardinal House is the solution of an Atlanta-based designer, with a crafty background, tired of seeing old fabric sample books being trashed. Armed with the know-how and an arsenal of vintage beads handed down from her grandmother's business, Kat handcrafts a lovely line of floral jewelry and accessories available for sale in her Etsy shop.

Kitchen Belleicious is a cooking blog written by stay-at-home mom Jessica Maher who left her corporate career to spend time with your son and to pursue her true passion --cooking. We particularly love the blog tagline "southern, sassy, and fearless in the kitchen" though I think we need to work on the last two conditions!
