Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Bayou City Art Festival Memorial Park. A rain-free weekend, huge crowds of art enthusiasts, and the honor of being the featured artist at the show made for an incredible kick-off to our 2011 art fair season. A special shout-out goes to Kim, Kelly, and the rest of the Art Colony Association board and staff for being such amazing art fair producers!
As we've mentioned previously on the blog, this was the first year Bayou City featured not one but two artworks. For those of you still thinking about these works, here's the scoop:
Field and Bayou
:: Original mixed media artwork - accepting best offers on this work (show price $4200)
:: 27" x 40" BOX PRINT reproduction - available here
:: Larger/smaller BOX PRINT reproductions - contact to order
:: paper print version - available here
In addition to these works, many of the new works unveiled at the show are now available in our online shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/dolangeiman
Special thanks goes to The Point Group, a Houston-based marketing communications firm, for securing some wonderful coverage for us during the event including an in-studio interview with Debra Duncan on Great Day Houston the same day as Kinky Friedman. If you know Kinky Friedman, you know that was a unique way to start one's day on a Thursday morning at 7:30 AM!
