New in the Sale Bin

Starting at Top Left: Record Catch (sale - $50), Cotton Candy Chorus (sale - $300), China Doll (sale - $115), Sheriff's Daughter (sale - $85), The Quarterhorse and the Bridesmaid (print - sale - $35)

Our Collector's and Sales Bin was looking a little skimpy on Etsy so we've decided to discount a few collages from 2007. Like our Sketchbook collages, these will be sold unframed but packaged with foam core and shrink wrap to ensure their safety during transit. My personal favorite is the China Doll collage, a puzzle-like assemblage loosely inspired by one of Dolan's favorite films, Chinatown. And, for those of you that have yet to discover this secret, all of our Etsy shipments include a gift card which can be used online or at any of our nationwide art fairs. So, make certain to snag this gift card when you open your shipment from us. There's no expiration date on our gift cards and you're welcome to transfer the card to someone else.

Need a framer for your print or loose collage? What are your recommendations for Chicago? We've tested out a number of framers in the city-- Framing Mode, April 7s, and Foursided to name a few. Each has their pros and cons, but the verdict is still out on our favorite framer in the city. Suggestions?

I like Foursided--good neighborhood people, great selection, and I've seen some very imaginative framed art in their stores, some of which I believe is done by the staff. The other store you mention--April 7, the owners used to work at Foursided.
