DG News: Virginia Fall Foliage Festival

It's all getting pretty scientific over here at the Dolan Geiman studio.

Did you know that there are generally always slight traces of red and yellow in leaves, and that those colors are usually just drowned out by the green color of chlorophyll? Did you know it's actually the unused glucose trapped inside a leaf that turns them red?

Well now YOU TOO can try out these pearls of wisdom at the Virginia Fall Foliage Festival (say that 3 times fast) happening this weekend in Dolan's hometown of Waynesboro, VA.

Beginning Saturday October 11 at 10am and featuring around 200 artists, the Foliage Fest is one of our favorite art fairs of the year as we are looking forward to reconnecting with Dolan's native habitat.

We're so excited to head South and witness some of the most beautiful landscapes the US has to offer slowly change shades.

We just hope the panoramic views don't upstage the art...
