Whew! What a holiday shopping weekend it was. We stayed warm and plenty inspired by many of the artists who appeared at this past weekend's One of a Kind Show & Sale... Check out Dolan's booth (seen above) on FLICK!A few highlights...

Orange Beautiful's booth was absolutely drool-worthy, just like her work. Just goes to show making beautiful things can easily translate into making beautiful spaces! Way to go Emily! Oh, and be sure to read Emily's blog: the SCOOP.
Adam Smith makes incredible, vintage-inspired jewelry featuring haunting, gorgeous old photographs. It's truly some of the most unique handmade jewelry we've ever come across and he should be very proud. Also... check out his awesome engagement photo:
Congrats Adam & Haligan!
Local artist Hiroshi Ariyama's screenprints were stellar. It's so refreshing to see this artist's unique take on the Windy City. That, and his technique is flawless.
With the snow falling and temperature dropping, Ali was so pleased to find Moira & Obbie's cozy Flashdance Mittens on site!
And the jackets and other apparel made by MoMo were incredible. These designers certianly have a unique point of view and produce immaculate clothing.
Finally, we had the pleasure of eating dinner with the ever-charming and super-talented Aaron Foster. He's had great success and is an inspiration to all of us independent craftspeople everywhere! All in all it was a very busy and very fun weekend!
We hope you were able to make it. But, if you didn't, be sure to check out ANY of the above sites to find some incredible gifts to give this holiday season.
