September Art Giveaway

Update 9/10/09: Check your Inbox. The winner of our September Quarterly Art Giveaway was announced in our September newsletter distributed yesterday, 9/9/09.

It feels rather bittersweet to be announcing another newsletter subscriber giveaway date. Bitter in that summer is passing by too quickly, but sweet in that we get to surprise another newsletter subscriber with a fun art gift in just one month's time. Here's a recap on how to participate in our fall giveaway, scheduled to be announced in our September 9 newsletter.

:: ENTRY GUIDELINES ::

1. Deadline for entry: Friday, September 4 at 11:59 p.m. CST
2. Giveaway is only available to newsletter subscribers. The giveaway winner will be announced in the September 9 newsletter (not on the blog). You must subscribe to the newsletter by Friday, September 4 at 11:59 p.m. to be eligible. Subscribe now >>
3. On Wednesday, September 9, we will choose ONE winner randomly. We will select one e-mail address from all active newsletter subscribers. For every action you complete below, your e-mail address will be duplicated in the database we use to select a winner. For example, if you complete two actions below, your e-mail address will appear in the database three times (once for your newsletter subscription and two more times for the two actions you complete).
4. Comments format: All comments should include your first name and last initial to help distinguish between entries. At least one of your comments must include your e-mail address to verify your newsletter subscription. If you do not include at least one comment with your e-mail address, we cannot accept your additional contest entries . If you do not wish to include your complete e-mail address, write enough of the address that we can verify the subscription. For example, ali....geiman.com.
5. Already completed some of these actions before? It's okay. You may still leave separate comments identifying all the different actions you have completed, either during this giveaway or in the past. Again, for each action completed, you will increase your chances of winning as your e-mail address will appear more times in the database used for the random drawing.

Complete one or more of the following actions. For every additional action you complete, leave a separate comment with your first name and last initial. Also, remember that at least one of your comments must include your e-mail address so that your newsletter subscription can be verified.

1. Leave a comment with a link to your favorite current or past work on our website, Flickr page, or Etsy shop.

2. Subscribe to Daily Dolan Geiman blog updates via e-mail. Please subscribe by Friday, September 4 at 11:59 p.m. CST. You must verify your e-mail subscription to be eligible. After you sign up, FeedBurner will send you a verification e-mail - complete the steps necessary to verify your e-mail address via FeedBurner. Leave a comment noting the subscription with your e-mail address and we will verify the Feedburner subscription.

3. Exchange links with us via our website's Friends & Sponsors page . Visit the Friends & Sponsors page to learn more about participating. If your site(s) already links to us, leave a comment and paste the location of the link into your comment.

4. Write a blog post about Dolan Geiman and include a link to the blog post in the comments section. If you've already blogged about us in the past, how about a new post spreading the word about our giveaway?

5. Become a fan on Facebook. Leave a comment with your Facebook name.

6. Follow Dolan Geiman on Twitter. Leave a comment with a link to your Twitter page.

7. Fave the Daily Dolan Geiman on Technorati. Leave a comment with your Technorati member name.

8. Add Daily Dolan Geiman to your blogroll. Leave a comment with a link to your blog roll.

9. Introduce your friends/followers to our website, Etsy shop, and/or blog via your Facebook or Twitter page. Leave a comment with a link alerting us to the update along with your Facebook/Twitter name.

10. You choose! Have another idea about how to spread the word about Dolan Geiman and/or our giveaways. Leave a comment outlining your unique broadcasting method of choice.

All together, this means each participant has ten additional chances to enter! All entries must be completed by Friday, September 4 at 11:59 p.m. CST and please remember to leave a separate comment for each action you complete and include at least one comment with your e-mail address so your newsletter subscription can be verified.
