New Retailer: The Green Life

As we expand our list of retailers each month, it's easy to dream about visiting each of our new stores and touring the surrounding cities. One of our latest retailers, The Green Life, is certainly conducive to such daydreaming, an urban eco-store in the small (but mighty) town of Burlington, Vermont. Burlington, as I just discovered from this Design*Sponge city guide, is the smallest U.S. city that is the largest city in the state. Judging by The Green Life and the other boutiques and cafes highlighted in this guide, Burlington offers small town goodness with big town shopping and dining.

Husband and wife team Michael and Shannon Hassenberg opened The Green Life opened in December 2009 to offer Burlington residents everything then need for their lifestyle and home while "making choices that help minimize our impact on this big blue ball". Look for lines like Amenity Home, Ashley Watson (also carried by our Chicago retailer Grasshopper 510), and Plover Organics, a brand of linens we particularly enjoy.
